Good Questions, Honest Answers

Everything Buffalo neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.

What areas around Buffalo do you serve?

We're based in Buffalo (14201) and cover roughly a 20-mile radius. That's the whole city — Elmwood Village, Allentown, North and South Buffalo, Parkside and the West Side — plus the first-ring towns and villages like Kenmore, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga and Amherst. If you're in or around the city, call and we'll usually make it work.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. For the bulk of jobs we can lock a firm price off a couple of photos and a short phone call. Larger projects get a free look in person. Either route, you'll hold a clear figure before anything gets booked.

How does pricing work — do you charge by the hour?

Wherever it's possible we price the job rather than the hour, so the cost is clear from the start. On open-ended punch-list days we settle on a rate and a rough scope first so nothing catches you off guard. And if the work goes quicker than figured, the price shifts your way.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes on both. The City of Buffalo requires a home-improvement license to work for pay at any job size, and we keep ours current. We also carry general-liability insurance and are happy to show proof. We're locally based, so we stand behind the work and we're a phone call away if a question comes up afterward.

What kinds of jobs do you handle — and what don't you?

We handle the wide middle ground of home repair and upkeep: plaster and drywall, doors, mounting, fixtures, fences, gutters, painting, winter prep and the running punch list. New York leaves general licensing to local government, and the City of Buffalo does require a home-improvement license, which we hold. But when a job crosses into new electrical circuits, gas lines or major plumbing, that's licensed-trade territory — we'll say so plainly and point you to a licensed pro we'd use ourselves.

Can I just text you a photo of the problem?

Absolutely — it's the quickest path to a quote. A sharp photo or two plus a line about the trouble is usually enough for us to price it and sort scheduling without coming out first.

How do I schedule, and how far out are you booked?

Call or text and we'll slot you in at the first opening we've got. Most of the time we're on-site within a few days, and quicker still for urgent trouble like a leak or storm damage that can't sit.

How can I pay?

We accept the usual easy methods and keep things straightforward. The agreed price is set before we begin, and you pay once the work's finished and you're happy with it.
